An opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Advisor to support project and site teams in delivering high environmental standards within a regulated infrastructure environment. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, supporting environmental management plans, carrying out site inspections, and promoting best practice to minimise environmental impact.Who this role would suit This role would suit an environmentally focused professional who enjoys working in a site-based environment and engaging with operational teams. It is ideal for someone organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with the confidence to support projects, manage environmental risks and promote sustainable practices across complex infrastructure or construction programmes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day environmental support to project and site teamsEnsure compliance with environmental legislation, permits and site requirementsSupport the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans and risk assessmentsConduct site inspections, monitoring activities and environmental auditsPromote environmental awareness, sustainability initiatives and best practice across siteRequirementsProven experience in Environmental roleDegree qualified in relevant discipline.Experience within Construction, Nuclear, Infrastructure, or similar.Location Whitehaven Permanent Full Time, 40 hrs Salary circa £40k + £5k car allowance Benefits 25 days holiday (plus 8 days bank holidays) Up to 8% pension contribution Private medical insuranceAPPLY NOW!
