Job Description
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect with a strong PHP and digital platforms background to define and govern enterprise-wide architecture, ensuring alignment between business strategy, technology, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and own enterprise architecture standards, principles, and roadmaps
Translate business strategy into target-state application, integration, and data architectures
Provide architectural governance across PHP-based and multi-technology ecosystems
Design scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise platforms and APIs
Guide solution architects and engineering teams on architecture decisions and best practices
Evaluate and rationalise applications, tools, and platforms across the enterprise
Ensure alignment with security, compliance, performance, and availability requirements
Support investment decisions through technology assessments and business cases
Key Skills & Experience:
Strong background in PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) within enterprise environments
Proven experience in enterprise application and integration architecture
Strong understanding of cloud, hybrid, and microservices architectures
Experience with data architecture, MDM concepts, and system interoperability
Knowledge of security, governance, and enterprise controls
Ability to engage senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Security, Risk) and influence decision-making
