Hybrid (2 days/week in London) | Contract | 6+ months | ASAP Start Were looking for a Contract Enterprise Architect to help shape and assure critical solutions that span organisational boundaries, enabling secure and scalable integrations across the enterprise. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and enjoys balancing strategic vision with technical delivery. What youll be doing: Designing secure, scalable B2B data integration solutions using a mix of modern and legacy technologies. Capturing architectural requirements and defining reference architectures and integration landscapes. Developing transition states and transformation roadmaps to support long-term business change. Evaluating solution trade-offs and presenting HLDs through governance processes. Leading the formulation of architecture building blocks aligned with enterprise capabilities. Working with tools and technologies like iPaaS (e.g., MuleSoft), API gateways, HSMs, and digital certificates. What youll bring: Strong experience in secure B2B integrations across organisational boundaries. Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns and technologies (e.g., APIs, iPaaS, EAI). Knowledge of security technologies (e.g., encryption, digital certs, HSMs). Experience capturing NFRs (scalability, throughput, availability, reconciliation, etc.). Proven ability to develop architecture roadmaps and transition states. Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders and defend architectural decisions. Familiarity with EA frameworks like TOGAF. Experience with Sparx EA, ArchiMate, or UML. Track record in producing HLDs and progressing them through technical design authorities.
