Who are we looking for from you?
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH/ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) or other additional needs.
Strong knowledge of differentiation, behaviour management , and inclusive classroom practice.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive, positive attitude.
Commitment to continuous professional development and inclusive education.
More about the school you will work in
You'll be based at Progress Arc - Billinge School which has recently been taken over by The Progress Group. Formally known as Nugent House School, this is an exciting time to join us as we embark on a new chapter in the school's journey.
Our school has a maximum student capacity of 110 and situated across 4 buildings set within beautiful grounds and vast outdoor spaces. It includes spaces for vocational and academic learning as well as therapeutic support. We have Occupational Therapists on site, as well as colleagues who are trained to provide alternative therapies. Our strong teaching and support team are passionate about empowering our young people to achieve their unique potential, and that's just what you will help us to do. We aren't looking for professionals to just teach, but who can help to architect, motivative, empower and inspire, because we want every one of our young people to have the opportunities that they deserve.
