Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
Create a positive classroom environment that fosters learning and well-being
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental planning
Maintain accurate records and participate in school-wide initiatives
Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupilsIdeal English Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire a love of English
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
Commitment to professional development and collaborative working
