My client is a leading independent energy specialist with over a quarter of a century’s experience in specialist independent generation systems. They have developed an array of systems and services that benefit our clients’ energy requirements and help reduce the emission of harmful greenhouse gases. They develop a diverse range of energy projects, including Landfill Gas Generation, Flare Systems, Embedded Gas Generation, BESS, Combined Heat & Power systems, Client-side Behind the Meter power generation, Solar/PV arrays and more, in the UK and overseas.

Main responsibilities:

* Day to day operations and maintenance including but not limited to; fault diagnosis, location and rectification.

* Planned maintenance and breakdown response on the generator sets with minimum outages.

* A commitment to continuous enhancement of skills and knowledge, and that of the technicians working with you.

* Seek guidance and advice from the Engineering and Management team in anything you are unsure of.

* Avoiding unnecessary expenditure by using skills and tools available from within the company.

* Ensuring a stock of basic spare parts as detailed by the Area Supervisor is replenished and always to hand should there be a breakdown.

* A commitment to Health, Safety Quality and Environmental practices following all procedures and using your own judgement.
