Youll take ownership of team development, KPIs, crisis management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day engineering activity and resource planning Lead and develop a skilled engineering team with regular 1:1s and reviews Ensure health & safety compliance, risk assessments, and permit-to-work controls Support root cause analysis (RCA) and reduce downtime through robust problem solving Maintain site readiness for internal/external audits and engineering compliance The Ideal Candidate

HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level 3 / BTEC / City & Guilds in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic engineering Proven experience in engineering leadership within FMCG, ideally food manufacturing Strong people management, coaching, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of CMMS systems, 18th Edition Wiring Regs, and health & safety best practice Experience managing audits, crisis incidents, and continuous improvement projects We also want you to thrive in an engaging and inclusive work culture where you will have the opportunity to take on personal accountability and take pride in your work.
