Key Responsibilities

Receive, check and appropriately store incoming engineering materials and components. Maintain accurate stock records, carry out cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies. Issue parts to engineers promptly and prepare outgoing shipments when required. Keep the stores area clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards. Support procurement, documentation and continuous improvement within the engineering stores function.

Key Skills & Profile

Experience in an engineering stores or similar

stock-control

environment. Basic understanding of engineering components and materials handling. Strong numeracy, organisation and attention to detail with confidence using IT and inventory systems. Able to work independently or as part of a small team, managing workload effectively. Physically capable of safe manual handling; a forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.
