This organisation employs over 3,000 colleagues worldwide and supplies products to more than 40 countries across the EMEA region from its Leeds site.\n\nDescription\n\nReporting directly to the Director of Manufacturing, the Engineering Manager will play a key role in the site leadership team.

You'll be responsible for the entire engineering function, ensuring assets are maintained to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency, delivering optimal output at the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead, manage, and develop a team of around 10 engineers in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.\nIdentify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across all site assets.\nDrive reliability initiatives, including root cause analysis (RCA) and delivery of actions to meet key maintenance KPIs.\nDevelop team capability through training, development, and addressing skill gaps.\nEnsure compliance with Quality and Health & Safety standards at all times. \n\nProfile\n\nA successful Engineering Manager should a range of the following:\n\nStrong knowledge and experience in the FMCG sector (print or continuous process experience advantageous).\nStrong leadership background with proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams effectively.\nSolid technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.\nExcellent understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies.\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.\nAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.Job Offer\n\nCompetitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £70,000.\nBenefits package\nOpportunity to work within a respected and established organisation in Leeds.If you are an experienced Engineering Manager looking for a rewarding role, we encourage you to apply today
