ENGINEERING MANAGER

A leading digital agency specialising in TV application development is seeking a driven and capable Engineering Manager to join their growing team. Working with prestigious global brands across media, sports, and entertainment, the agency delivers innovative, high-performance solutions for Connected TV and OTT platforms.

This is a full-time permanent position, offered on a hybrid basis, with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. THE ROLE

As an Engineering Manager, you will take a central role in the ongoing development and wellbeing of a talented engineering team. You will be responsible for fostering a high-performing culture that values technical excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Working closely with the Head of Engineering and senior technical stakeholders, you will guide engineers through both individual progression and wider process improvement – ensuring the team delivers efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote a positive and engaged culture across the engineering team through regular check-ins and cross-functional collaboration

• Mentor and support team members, with a focus on both technical skills and professional development

• Drive ongoing improvements to engineering processes, practices, and documentation standards

• Oversee team performance, ensuring progress remains aligned with delivery goals and quality benchmarks

• Balance delivery deadlines with opportunities for innovation and experimentation

• Act as a liaison between engineering and other departments, representing the team effectively and constructively

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and a clear passion for engineering leadership. Whether you are already operating as an Engineering Manager or transitioning from a senior hands-on role, you should have the confidence and ability to guide others and drive positive change.

• Experience managing software engineers in a technical environment

• A background in front-end or full-stack development (CTV experience is beneficial but not required)

• Ability to mentor engineers and support both performance and wellbeing

• Strong understanding of development workflows, collaboration, and quality assurance

• Confident in problem-solving, process refinement, and cross-functional coordination
