We're looking for a Highways Engineer to join our Birmingham team based in Birmingham. Hours: 37.5 hours per week - hybrid working with 2 days per week in our Birmingham office We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role What will you be responsible for? As a Highways Engineer, you'll be working within the Highways team, supporting the Team Leader and Senior Engineer in development and preparation of concept, preliminary and detailed design of a range of highway and infrastructure projects. Your day to day will include: • Undertaking feasibility studies and detailed design of highway maintenance schemes using AutoCAD • Collaborating with other design disciplines in Common Data Environments • Developing engineering options with consideration to safety, reliability, and environmental factors • Preparing technical drawings, specifications and design calculations • Contributing to fee estimates, design programmes and tender documents What are we looking for?
