Hours: 8-5pm Monday - Friday. (Overtime is available and optional)
Salary - £DOE + Annual Profit Bonus.

What You'll Do: As an Engineer, reporting to an Engineering Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various production machinery across multiple lines. Your responsibilities will include:
Preventative Maintenance: Plan and execute maintenance activities to keep our machinery in top shape. Quality Checks: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on equipment to maintain high standards. Fault Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose equipment faults efficiently and accurately. Emergency Repairs: Carry out emergency repairs safely to minimise downtime. Procedure Development: Assist in creating and updating maintenance procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of faults, repairs, and testing for continuous improvement. Production Support: Help set up production lines and monitor inventory and order spare parts for reactive fixes as and when they occur. Collaborative Work: Work closely with Production and Account Managers to ensure seamless operations. Varied Duties: Take on other relevant tasks as requested, contributing to the overall success of the team.What We're Looking For: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
Technical Knowledge: A solid general knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance is essential. Engineering Qualification: While an engineering qualification is desirable, it is not mandatory. Manufacturing Insight: A good understanding of manufacturing processes will give you an edge. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to tackle challenges and find effective solutions. Pressure Resilience: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
