About the Role:

We are looking on behalf of a respected Birmingham-based law firm for a skilled Employment Solicitor to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience advising employers and employees on a variety of employment law issues, including contracts, disputes, disciplinary and redundancy matters, and tribunal representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and practical legal advice on employment law matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, settlement agreements, and workplace policies.
• Represent clients in employment tribunals and dispute resolution.
• Handle cases involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, grievance, and redundancy.
• Keep up to date with changes in employment legislation and case law.
• Liaise effectively with clients, HR professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Support the firm’s business development activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with strong employment law experience.
• Proven track record in advising on employment law matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Client-focused with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
