We are looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Technician for a 12-month contract based in Solihull on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
Job description - the role
To manufacture high integrity piece parts to support the OE and Aftermarket build and test of control systems. To be undertaken in accordance with all relevant Customer, Design and Quality procedures, whilst supporting the business in exceeding the Customer expectations with regards to Cost, Quality and Delivery.
As a Electronics Manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for:
The production of surface mount and through hole assemblies in accordance with the relevant aerospace quality processes & procedures.
Setting and operating the machines and equipment to product parts for OE using standard work procedures.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures as required.
Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards and planning schedules.
Works in an integrated team to achieve the cells targets.
Raising of Non-Conformance documentation and assisting the Team and Management in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
What we require from the candidate:
Previous experience of electronics manufacturing (manual & automated build techniques).
Soldering (IPC trained).
Previous experience of using pick & place machinery.
IT Skills (MES/Microsoft applications/etc).
