Job Description

We are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer based in Cambridge, to join a growing design and manufacture that specialise in a range of fire detection technologies that are sold all over the UK.\n\nKey responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer:\n\n * \n\n Schematic design, circuit layout, prototyping, and bench testing\n\n * \n\n Producing engineering reports and operating manuals\n\n * \n\n Supporting hardware and software engineers as required\n\n * \n\n Assisting the engineering team by validating software, providing inputs to equipment design, wiring test kits, and debugging electronics\n\n * \n\n Conducting analyses on faulty products and reporting findings\n\nKey skills / experience required for the Electronics Design Engineer:\n\n * Strong general understanding of electronics\n\n * \n\n Experience with schematic design, circuit layout, prototyping, and bench testing\n\n * \n\n Experience with low-power microcontrollers\n\n * \n\n High dynamic range analog design skills\n\n * \n\n Strong NPI (New Product Introduction / Development) experience\n\n * \n\n Proficiency in Altium\n\n * \n\n Previous experience working within and supporting an R&D team\n\n * \n\n Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial\n\n * Driving licence required\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing company that offers future career progression and great benefits, including an enhanced Pension scheme.\n\nPlease note: no sponsorship is provided for this role\n\nFor more information about the Electronics Design Engineer job in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire please apply today
