Our Repairs and Maintenance teams play an important role in delivering our vision of providing great homes and great service. We have a new opportunity for an Electrician to join our Responsive Repairs team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 39 hours per week: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday & 8:00 am - 3:30 pm on Friday, covering Havant and the surrounding areas. About the role
You will live within the Havant area to ensure we can get to our residents promptly. Guinness Property provides repairs and maintenance services to The Guinness Partnership. Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure that our residents' homes are safe and maintained to a high standard.

What we are looking for
We are a customer-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be a fully qualified and experienced Electrician, but you will also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.

Essential Skills & Experience: Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
Ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.
Essential Qualifications: City and Guilds 236 Pt 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level 3).
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
You will be asked to provide proof of essential qualifications before the interview.

Please note: This position will require a basic DBS check which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.

This is a full-time, permanent vacancy, working 39 hours per week, and there is a requirement to cover out-of-hours callout on a rota basis, which offers an additional payment.
