They are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician with experience in social housing projects to join their dedicated reactive maintenance team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within social housing properties.\n\n * Carry out regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.\n\n * Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.\n\n * Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to deliver a high standard of service.\n\n * Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including compliance documentation.\n\n * Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times.\n\n * Provide excellent customer service, liaising with tenants to ensure minimal disruption and effective resolution of issues.\n\nEssential Qualifications & Experience:\n\n * Fully qualified Electrician (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent).\n\n * 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (latest edition).\n\n * Experience working in the social housing sector.\n\n * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance.\n\n * Familiarity with the latest electrical safety standards and regulations.\n\n * Full UK driving license (essential).\n\n * Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.\n\n * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\n * Previous experience working with tenants.\n\n * Experience working within a housing association or local authority environment.\n\nWhy Join?\n\n * Be part of a supportive and professional team.\n\n * Competitive salary with additional benefits.\n\n * Opportunities for career progression and further training.\n\n * Contribute to improving the lives of those in our community.\n\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you have the necessary skills and experience and are passionate about working in social housing, we’d love to hear from you.
