Job Title: Electrician (EICR Testing)

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Rate: £200 - £210 per day (CIS Payments)

Job Type: Contract

We are currently seeking Electricians to carry out EICR testing, inspection, and remedial works within a block of privately owned rented flats in Reading.

In this role, you will be responsible for completing 5-6 EICRs per day across a total of 199 flats, followed by testing of 9 communal areas. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, producing accurate certification, and carrying out remedial works where required.

Responsibilities for the Electrician

Carry out EICR testing within residential flats
Complete daily test & inspection reports accurately
Undertake remedial works where required
Ensure all works comply with current regulations and safety standards
Maintain a professional approach in occupied properties

Requirements for the Electrician

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing) - Desirable
Proven experience in EICRs and residential testing
Own tools and testing equipment preferred
Ability to meet daily targets
