Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience commissioning low-voltage equipment in a regulated or high-tech industry
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel


Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful commissioning of advanced bioprocessing equipment. Your duties will include:

  • Testing electrical, electronic, and mechanical components of sub-assemblies and products
  • Performing electrical safety tests and completing online documentation
  • Checking calibrated equipment and maintaining accurate records
  • Following work instructions and acceptance test documents to meet timelines
  • Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and efficiency


Skills / Technical Competencies

  • Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles (advantageous)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills


Nice to Haves

  • Experience in a precision assembly environment
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for work
