Role Purpose We are recruiting an Engineering Supervisor (Electrical Bias) to supervise electrical works and undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems. The role will also involve small installation works and responding to site engineering emergencies, ensuring service delivery meets agreed service levels and client expectations. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the electrical services delivered by an embedded sub-contractor.
Supervise and carry out, when required, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on electrical and mechanical systems.
Ensure routine maintenance is completed to meet or exceed agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Carry out reactive repairs and coordinate specialist sub-contractors where required.
Liaise with sub-contractors for repairs and quotations, monitoring performance and compliance.
Ensure a safe and healthy working environment in line with CBRE and client policies and procedures.
Organise and participate in the site call-out rota, ensuring 100% coverage.
Work collaboratively with other trade engineers to resolve electrical issues within SLA timescales.
Maintain accurate documentation, records and electrical compliance paperwork.
Be available for shift work, weekend working and out-of-hours support as required by the contract. Qualifications & Experience
Recognised Electrical Qualification.
City & Guilds 17th/18th Edition in Electrical Installations.
City & Guilds Test and Inspection.
Good knowledge of building electrical systems including emergency lighting, fire alarms, power distribution and BMS.
Working knowledge of relevant British Standards (BS) applicable to electrical systems.
Experience of managing electrical systems, maintenance regimes and associated documentation.
Ability to work within a call-out rota and flexible shift patterns.
Good standard of education with strong written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills
