Electrical Shift Lead

to join a high-profile commercial building in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated electrical professional looking to step into a leadership role within a well-established engineering team, working a stable

days-only continental shift pattern . You will be responsible for leading the on-shift engineering team, ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems within a critical commercial environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the on-shift engineering team to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems

Ensure all plant and equipment operate efficiently and in line with site requirements

Act as the first point of contact for technical issues during your shift

Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures

Manage and coordinate subcontractors where required

Complete accurate reporting and maintain maintenance records

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

Requirements Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Experience working in a commercial building services environment

Previous supervisory or lead engineer experience preferred

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

Good knowledge of electrical systems, plant equipment, and building services

Excellent communication and leadership skills
