Salary: £55,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental Shift – Days & Nights (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a prestigious commercial site based in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineer looking for long-term stability, strong benefits, and a clear progression route into Supervisor level.
You will be responsible for delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with site and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance
*
Electrical fault finding on commercial building systems
*
Maintenance and operation of AHUs and FCUs
*
Lighting maintenance, including Simtronic lighting systems
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety and site procedures
*
Accurate completion of maintenance logs and reports
*
Liaise with the site team and subcontractors where required
Required Skills & Experience
*
Proven experience in a commercial building / critical environment
*
Strong electrical fault-finding capability
*
Experience working on AHU & FCU systems
*
Knowledge of lighting systems, including Simtronic (or similar)
*
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
*
18th Edition (preferred)
*
Able to work continental days & nights shift pattern
