Electrical Project Manager in Wrexham, Clwyd

We are working with a leading contracting group who have secured a five-year MEICA framework and are looking to appoint an Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of AMP8 work, this role offers the opportunity to deliver major upgrades across clean and wastewater assets as part of a long-term programme.
Role Overview:
You will play an integral role in leading electrical schemes from inception through to commissioning. Working closely with pre-construction teams and alongside mechanical and civil engineering counterparts, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of electrical projects across clean and wastewater sites
* Manage projects from initial design through to commissioning and handover
* Coordinate with pre-construction, mechanical, and civil teams
* Ensure delivery to programme, budget, and quality expectations
* Manage subcontractors, site teams, and project resources
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
* Engage with senior stakeholders and clients throughout the project lifecycle
* Monitor progress and provide regular project reporting
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the water or utilities sector
* Strong understanding of MEICA projects and delivery
* Experience delivering projects across clean and/or wastewater assets
* Knowledge of project lifecycle from design through to commissioning
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree)
