Maintenance Supervisor FM Service Provider Luxury Residential Apartments - London, Aldgate Up to £55,000Exciting opportunity to join a privately owned FM service provider based in London. CBW is currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a mixed-use residential building providing a selection of beautiful apartments as well as independent coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. As the on-site Lead / Supervisor, you will ensure all maintenance and compliance standards are met while supporting a critical operation with minimal downtime. Balancing your time between looking after a team of 3/4 engineers you will also carry out hands on PPM & reactive maintenance as and when required.Hours for work:Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 17:00pmNO CALL OUTKey duties & responsibilitiesServe as the primary on-site contact for all client liaison, ensuring a professional and responsive service is consistently deliveredOversee the completion of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities in line with schedules and compliance standardsCoordinate and close out actions from audits, client meetings, and site inspections in a timely mannerCompile and submit monthly performance reports and updates as requiredReview and sign off all job sheets for clarity, accuracy, and any necessary remedial actionsProvide detailed documentation of works carried out, raising any follow-up tasks where neededRespond to all reactive and emergency call-outs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to site operationsDiagnose plant faults and breakdowns, raise quotations for repairs, and liaise with management for approvalEnsure all plant and building services are maintained in safe, efficient working orderUndertake electrical inspection and testing duties in line with regulations and best practicesConduct routine site audits and ensure full statutory compliance is maintained across all building systemsSupervise and coordinate all on-site contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with site rules and safety proceduresDeliver regular toolbox talks, safety briefings, and promote best practice in health and safety across the siteRequirementsRecognised Electrical qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent) in a relevant engineering disciplineC&G 2391 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Inspection and Testing18th Edition (BS7671) certification essentialProven experience leading or supervising an engineering teamSolid background in building services and M&E maintenance operationsResidential or Hotel experience would be highly desirable (Not essential)Excellent customer service skillsJBRP1_UKTJ
