Job Purpose

Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be working within the engineering maintenance team. You will provide all – round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. You will have a detailed understanding of all new of current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/Building Codes of practice.

This role is working on a monday-Friday split day rota

Week1 6am-3pm

week 2 9am-6pm

Job Responsibilities

* Emergency lighting

* Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.

* Ensure all PPM tasks are carried out on time.

* Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service to all M&E services on site

* Issue permits in accordance to Vertex policy

* Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines.

* Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance.

* Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met.

* Carry out modifications and installations when required.

* Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers.

* Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard.

* Liaise with tenants, building manager

* Paying £48000 + Overtime
