We have a fantastic role available on a busy commercial site, offering a competitive salary of £45,000 per year and a full Monday to Friday schedule.The Role: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of all electrical systems on-site. This is a hands-on, varied role that will keep your technical skills sharp and give you exposure to a wide range of commercial electrical equipment.Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on electrical systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify faults on low and medium voltage systems. Maintain, test, and repair lighting, power distribution, and control systems. Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and site safety requirements. Collaborate with other trades and site staff to maintain smooth operations. Keep accurate maintenance records and complete reports on all work performed. Participate in planned shutdowns and upgrades when required. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Experience working in commercial or industrial environments. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of testing procedures, PAT testing, and electrical safety standards. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
