Birchwell Associates are working alongside a well-established Construction company to recruit experienced

Maintenance and Approved Electricians

for permanent roles across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong portfolio of long-term maintenance contracts, our client is expanding their engineering team. The Role

This position offers a varied workload covering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites. Engineers will manage jobs via a mobile-based system and work closely with on-site facilities teams, while being fully supported by project managers and the wider operations team. Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical maintenance and repair works in line with current IET Wiring Regulations

Assist with both minor works and larger maintenance tasks

Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance on all sites

Complete risk assessments and follow approved safe systems of work

Liaise professionally with clients and on-site facilities staff

Accurately complete job documentation using digital and paper-based systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

ECS Gold Card

Full UK Driving Licence

Clear DBS record

Confident IT and mobile device skills

Desirable

Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391 or 2395)

Experience within commercial and/or educational environments

Holiday entitlement starting at 20 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing annually up to 25 days
