We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy and growing facilities maintenance team. This is a mobile role, predominantly covering sites in and around Alnwick and wider Northumberland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician with commercial maintenance experience looking for a stable role with variety and long-term progression.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works across a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial sites
* Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems
* Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems
* Minor installation and upgrade works
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
* Completing job reports and updates via CAFM systems
* Supporting wider building services where required
What We’re Looking For
* Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
* Experience in commercial building maintenance / FM environments
* 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
