Our Corsham Facilities Management team are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to help to enable the smooth delivery of our projects, on-site. We’re expecting that you’ll be looking for a team where you will be respected as an expert in your field, where you can drive change and see that you’re making a difference.
How you’ll support us
This is an opportunity to be part of a team where you will have the opportunity to utilise your existing skills and develop the skills of those around you, this role is based on the customer site with an on-call roster and occasional weekend maintenance, up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year.
You’ll manage the maintenance of electrical system installations within the facility. As one of the appointed Subject Matter Expert in Electrical systems, you’ll perform as the main focal point for all electrical aspects (maintenance and fault finding) on site.
How your day will look:
* Electrical Installation and maintenance
* Planning and managing internal projects
* Control and maintain risk assessments
* Undertake PA Testing
* Ensure all scheduled logbook activities are completed
* Carryout planned and reactive tasks (electrical and occasionally mechanical)
* Work a minimum of one maintenance weekend per month up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year
The qualifications and experience you’ll bring to help us achieve more:
* C&G 2365 (levels 2 and 3) Electrical Installations or equivalent
* C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial)
* C&G 2377 PAT testing or equivalent
* Experience in repairs and maintenance of complex commercial electrical and MEP systems.
* UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
* MOD Facilities Management experience
* Microsoft Word/Excel
* I would be great if you have a natural enjoyment of problem solving, getting stuck into a challenge and a curiosity of how components fit into a bigger picture view. Also have a drive to learn, seek out answers on your own as well as utilising team members knowledge around you.

* Due to the highly secure nature of the projects, you’ll be working on, you must be willing to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government SC security clearance
