Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a driven and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join their growing team on a high-specification Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: Maintain clear and accurate reporting to monitor progress and ensure alignment with key project milestones.

Review design and IFC specifications and drawings to gain a full understanding of the project scope.

Lead coordination activities to produce accurate installation drawings, working closely with BIM teams to ensure compliance and programme adherence.

Support on-site quality control, ensuring all works meet required technical, regulatory, and project standards.

Review subcontractor and supplier tenders to confirm alignment with technical and design requirements.

Ensure engineering activities, including procurement, are delivered in line with the project programme.

Prepare, submit, and manage all technical submittals in accordance with project requirements.

Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and the QA plan.

Coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain progress and clear communication, including recording minutes from weekly meetings.

Promote the adoption of best practices to improve project scheduling and delivery efficiency.

Liaise with the Project Quantity Surveyor to compile and prepare tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.

Electrical Engineer Requirements: 57 years experience within the electrical contracting industry, ideally with a recognised contractor.

Strong organisational skills with proven experience in project planning and coordination.

Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in Navisworks and engineering-related database systems.

Experience using project planning tools such as Primavera, along with a solid understanding of CAD and BIM workflows.
