Electrical Quality Engineer Location: West Bromwich Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 per year. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm. Job type: Full-time, permanent Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Electrical Quality Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Responsibilities of the Electrical Quality Engineer: · Conduct in-depth inspections of installed electrical systems: LV/MV switchgear, tap of units, distribution panels, busbars, and control units. · Verify correct installation methods per British Standards, IEC Standards and other relevant standards, construction drawings, and specifications. · Sign-off installed systems post-verification, ensuring compliance with both technical standards and customer specifications. · Act as the on-site technical liaison for contractors, installers, and customers. · Lead inspection and testing of electrical components and assemblies during in-house production. · Audit supplier installation practices and electrical build quality. · Ensure compliance documentation (DoCs, certifications, risk assessments) are accurate and audit ready. · Work with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Project Manager, and Commercial teams to align technical expectations and field realities. · Maintain professional, tactful communication in high-pressure scenarios, using pati...
