Electrical Engineer We currently have a fantasticopportunityfor an Electrical Engineer to join a leading and engineering companybased in Portsmouth.
Introduction The primary role of the Electrical Engineer will be to work on the design, development and commissioning ofcontrol systems forproduction equipment and products, managing multiple project work flows and liaising with customers andsuppliers, organisingpackages of work.
Responsibilities: Your duties will include working on motion control equipment and drives, safety systems, andmonitoring systems - PLC and video based.This majorityof this role will be desk-basedspecification, design and documentation, also involving liaising with control systems suppliers and contracting companies. Managing projects and work flows,coordinating and assisting on the shop floor, taking the designs through to deliveryinto the manufacturing process, so a hands on approach will also be required for this position.
Working on the implementation of new lines as well as supporting existing systems. You will be able to approach challenges and develop solutions with a low level of supervision before presenting them. Your duties will...
