PURPOSE

o To act as the Designer for Capital projects on Electricity North West Ltd's system up to and including 132kV. To manage, and oversee, all aspects of design (from outline to detail) during the project life including, but not limited to, design, planning, approval, construction, commissioning and final handover. o Working closely with the Project Manger, Construction Managers (and Construction Engineers) and Design Manager to ensure that all 132/33kV projects achieve the programme objectives of time, cost and quality, at each key milestone stage, to meet requirements of the agreed programme. Outputs reported from the programme form Key Performance Indicators to the Company's regulators. o To ensure business processes and systems are aligned to obtain maximum performance, and that all projects / are managed on appropriate Company systems. o Must establish and maintain a flexible and adaptable approach to change, being able to respond rapidly and develop creative solutions.
