Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Ecologist to lead ecological surveys and support highways and rail infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland. You will play a vital role ensuring compliance with wildlife legislation and delivering high-quality ecological assessments and reports to inform project development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and conduct ecological surveys in line with project requirements. Ensure compliance with UK and Northern Ireland wildlife legislation. Review and produce detailed ecological reports and assessments. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams. Make independent decisions and manage survey activities both in the field and office. Travel to sites using the provided vehicle.
