Woodpeckers Nursery

is growing, and we are excited to welcome

two passionate Early Years Practitioners

to join our nurturing, child-centred team.

At Woodpeckers, we don’t just provide childcare. We create meaningful childhood experiences. Every day is built around curiosity, warmth, laughter and developmentally rich play in a setting where children feel safe, confident and truly known.

We are currently recruiting for:

Baby Room Practitioner

(Baby room experience preferred) Supporting our youngest children with nurture, secure attachments, routines and early developmental play.

Main Room Practitioner

Supporting children aged 2–4 years through imaginative learning experiences, early communication, social development and school readiness.

What We’re Looking For:

For both roles, we are seeking practitioners who:

Have a genuine passion for early years education

Enjoy planning creative, engaging and purposeful activities

Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families

Are confident working within the EYFS framework

Bring energy, kindness and professionalism to their role

Value teamwork and a positive working culture

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or working towards) preferred
