We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join a Childrens Centre Hub Team, delivering engaging, high-quality play and communication sessions across childrens centres in Enfield. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children aged 04 at a crucial stage in their development. Through creative, interactive, and play-based activities, you will help build strong foundations in communication, language, and early literacy. Your work will play a vital role in supporting children to reach key developmental milestones and be ready for the transition into school.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver fun, stimulating play-based sessions that promote communication, language, and early literacy skills Support childrens individual development to improve outcomes and school readiness Accurately record attendance, activities, and session outcomes in line with administrative procedures Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to deliver services aligned with national childrens centre priorities Contribute to improving outcomes for children and families, particularly those who may need additional support RequirementsNVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education (or equivalent) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Minimum 2 years experience in an Early Years or childcare setting Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development Experience delivering activities that support early communication and language development Good IT skills and experience with data entry and record keeping Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)Additional InformationThis is a varied and flexible role, requiring you to work across a range of childrens centre locations, including satellite and community venues.
