Early Years Practitioner - Full Time Location: Wandsworth Town Setting: Mainstream Primary School (New EYFS Provision) Start Date: January 2026
A welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream primary school in Wandsworth Town is seeking a committed and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join its team on a full-time basis in January. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly established EYFS provision for children aged 2-4, supporting the development and growth of a high-quality early years setting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports children's early development in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development
Observe, assess, and record children's progress accurately
Work collaboratively with teachers, early years staff, and parents/carers
Maintain a safe, well-organised, and welcoming learning environment
Uphold safeguarding procedures and ensure the welfare of all children at all times
Requirements:
A Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or higher)
Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
Experience working with children aged 2-4 in an early years setting
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
This role would suit an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner who is keen to contribute to a new provision and make a meaningful impact during children's crucial early learning years.
