Early Years Practitioner Broughton Primary School Nursery
Salary: £30,188 - £34,452Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks per year
Working week: Monday to FridayShifts: varying between the hours of 7.45am and 6.10pm (available on request)
The applicant must be eligible for registration (without conditions) with the SSSC as a Practitioner in Day Care of Children, in possession of a practice qualification as noted in the attached job profile.

Broughton Nursery offers Early Learning and Childcare to children aged 3-5 years. At Broughton we are committed to providing an excellent early years' experience, based on mutual respect, partnership, participation and fun. We are looking to recruit a full-time, passionate and driven Early Years Practitioner to join our existing nursery team. This position will eventually be based within the new purpose-built centre which will be in the vicinity of the school and is due to open in the future with a capacity for up to 120 children.
The successful applicant must demonstrate experience in forming good relationships with children, parents, staff and the wider community. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
