HGV Driver Trainer - Join Our Team

Location: Bells Hill Glasgow (ML4 3NY)

Salary: 16.63ph - £28.50ph plus £40 weekly allowance

Shift Pattern - 5 days out of 7.

Must be flexible in line with business needs

Are you passionate about developing drivers, improving road safety, and making a real impact every day? We're looking for a dedicated HGV Driver Trainer to support and develop our LGV drivers across the business.

What we're looking for: Strong communicator with hands-on driver training experience

Confident delivering both practical and classroom-based training

Excellent knowledge of EU and RTWTD regulations

Experience using digital tachographs and compliance systems

Minimum 3 years' experience as an LGV C+E driver

Essential: LGV C+E licence

Driver CPC

Experience delivering driver training

Desirable: NRI (RTITB) DCPC qualification

IOSH or First Aid

Experience with telematics (Connexus/Tachomaster)

What you'll do: Deliver engaging driver training and development

Support DCPC training and new driver inductions

Promote safe and fuel-efficient driving

Carry out driver assessments and post-incident training

Help improve driver performance using KPIs and telematics

Work closely with Transport and Compliance teams to ensure best practice
