Academics are partnered with a fantastic secondary school in the Leeds area who are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Drama teacher for a January 2026 start. In the schools most recent OFSTED inspection they were rated outstanding in all areas!\n\nWe are actively searching for a Drama teacher to share their knowledge and deliver high quality lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 by displaying a good understanding of the Drama curriculum.\n\nAs a Drama teacher you will be responsible for the following:\n\nContributing towards extracurricular activities such as school productions and Drama clubs.\nAssisting with the student's progression by supporting them with upcoming exams and assessments.\nDisplay strong behaviour management and have the ability to control the classroom.\nPlanning lessons that will keep the students engaged \n\nFor the Drama teacher role you must meet the below requirements:\n\nHold a relevant Drama degree\nMust have obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)\nHave valid right to work in the UK\nMust have an enhanced DBS on the update service \n\nThe benefits of working for Academics as Drama teacher:\n\nYou will be represented by one of our experienced and reliable consultants here at Academics that will help you make further progress in your teaching career.\nWeekly pay through PAYE\nPaid to scale from day 1 \n\nIf the role of a Drama teacher looks like it could be a great next step in your career, please apply today
