We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Drama Teacher to join our vibrant Creativity Faculty, which includes Sport, Dance, Health & Social Care, Child Development, Music, and Drama. The TLR responsibility will be for either curriculum or assessment within the faculty, offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth and leadership.
Requirements and qualifications:
Experience teaching the WJEC Drama course and leading whole‑school performances is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to bring creativity, energy, and innovation to a teaching department.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work alongside other Deputies and the Director of Creativity.
Responsibilities:
Deputy Director of Creativity – work with the Director and other Deputies to shape and develop the Performing Arts curriculum across the school.
Engage and motivate all pupils, and improve overall outcomes in the Performing Arts.
Develop and enhance the existing offer, making use of the school’s excellent drama facilities and inter‑faculty collaboration.
Support the rollout of new programs, including music and other creative subjects.
