Project: Distinctive Luxury Cabin Development (M&E Package: £50M)
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (Experience Dependent) Plus Package
I am working with a thriving contractor recognised as a market leading mechanical and electrical contractor throughout the UK. With a specialism in large scale commercial office, residential and datacentres projects their experience ranges from smaller works to major projects more than £60M. They a seeking a confident Document Controller to join a flagship development project in Northampton comprising the construction of a series of ultra-high-specification luxury cabins.
As the Document Controller, you will be responsible for the efficient management and control of all project documentation, with particular emphasis on M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submittals. You will support the delivery team and subcontractors by ensuring the right documents are accessible, up-to-date, and compliant with QA processes.
* Receive, register, track, and distribute project documentation including drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, and test certifications.
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure documentation is submitted and approved in line with the construction programme.
* Ensure proper version control and document revision procedures are followed.
* Support M&E coordination meetings with up-to-date documentation packages.
* Create and manage document transmittals, logs, trackers, and audit trails.
* Prepare and issue drawing registers for weekly coordination meetings.
* Ensure compliance with project document protocols, including naming conventions and approval workflows.
