We are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join a well-established construction contractor with a strong reputation in the industrial and logistics sector. This role offers the chance to be a key figure in managing and streamlining project documentation across high-value developments.
The Role
As a Document Controller, youll be the go-to person for handling project records, overseeing the circulation of technical documentation, and making sure all processes meet both company and client requirements. Youll play a central role in supporting project teams by ensuring documentation is properly managed, accessible, and up to date.
Key Duties
Oversee and maintain control of all project documentation from design through to handover
Guarantee all records are accurate, current, and issued to the correct parties
Manage electronic document management systems, ensuring full compliance with internal and client standards
Act as a point of contact for document queries, offering guidance and support to team members when needed
Work closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to keep workflows running smoothly
Track the progress of documents and provide regular reporting to project leadership
About You
Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction is essential
Solid understanding of document management platforms such as Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, or similar
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and coordination skills across different teams
Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities at once
