Location: Greater Manchester Area - Office based several days per week

About the Company


Our client is a growing enterprise software and digital marketing business. They combine innovative internal products with a dynamic service offering. With strong foundations in place, they are entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for an entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead the business to its next stage.


The Role


The Managing Director will take full P&L responsibility and set the strategic direction for the company. They will oversee both the enterprise software operations and the marketing services division, ensuring seamless integration, operational efficiency, and innovation. The organisation currently employs around 20 people, supported by additional outsourced specialists who deliver for clients globally.


The focus of the role is to drive growth by strengthening client relationships, expanding the service portfolio, and identifying new commercial opportunities. The Managing Director will integrate the two divisions, build a high-performing team, and develop recurring revenue streams. For example, they may take an existing enterprise product and transform it into a scalable solution for a broader market.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a growth strategy that leverages consultancy expertise and product development.
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive business development, securing new clients and partnerships in the UK and internationally.
  • Ensure operational excellence and deliver exceptional value to clients.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, and the financial health of the business.
  • Represent the company externally, positioning it as a leader in its field.
