The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the group’s financial control function, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting, and streamlined processes across a complex structure. This is a high-impact position requiring exceptional technical expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the financial control function and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Overseeing group consolidation and financial reporting under IFRS.
  • Driving improvements in financial processes, controls, and systems to support scalability.
  • Managing the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
  • Partnering with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders to provide insight and support strategic decision-making.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Overseeing external audits and managing relationships with auditors and key advisors.

The ideal Candidate

  • A Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a strong technical foundation.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial control role within a PE-backed organisation, demonstrating success in complex structures.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and group consolidations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple entities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working closely with private equity investors.
  • The ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments, adopting a hands‑on approach when required.
