Benefits include: Competitive basic salary of up to £37,000 per annum, commensurate with experience OTE of up to £45,000, with regularly available overtime at time and a half 40-hour working week, including a half-day on Saturdays 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with additional holiday entitlement based on length of service Clear career progression pathways and ongoing training opportunities Potential for MOT certification if desired Access to continuous professional development in diagnostic techniques Supportive team environment committed to developing future talent Duties include: Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics across various makes and models Replace cambelts, perform gearbox repairs, and carry out other mechanical tasks Undertake MOT testing and prepare vehicles accordingly Mentor and develop apprentice and junior staff members Maintain high standards of vehicle repair and customer satisfaction Work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced workshop environment Specification: Proven experience as a vehicle technician or diagnostic technician Strong diagnostic skills, with experience in electrical systems MOT tester qualification is desirable; training can be provided if necessary Ability to work independently, managing time effectively Excellent mentoring skills for supervising junior staff and apprentices Flexible approach to work schedules and responsibilities A proactive, dedicated attitude with a passion for automotive diagnostics If you are an experienced Diagnostic Technician eager to advance your career within a dynamic environment, contact Tom Wharton today to learn more about this exciting role.
