ROLE - Design Engineer

LOCATION - Warwickshire

TERM - Permanent

SALARY- £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a manufacturer of specialist products and equipment for a variety of sectors. They’re looking for a Design Engineer to join their team in Warwickshire on a permanent basis.

The Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar Design Engineering / CAD Operation position Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment Previous experience designing for the retail industry Previous experience with Joiner or Metalwork or Plastics Be proficient using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo etc. Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team Have the ability to carry out mechanical calculations Any previous experience of working with process machinery or steel / metal materials would be desirable Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Proficient using MS Office Excellent organisational skills and time management skillsThe Design Engineer role will involve:
