The Education Specialist (TES) is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wallasey to recruit a Design & Technology Teacher with a specialism in Product Design to teach up to Key Stage 4. This is a full-time position on a 1-year fixed term contract, beginning in September 2025, and continuing for the full academic year.

About the Role:

* Full teaching responsibility for Product Design to KS3 and KS4

* Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that inspire creativity and innovation

* Work collaboratively within a strong DT department

* Monitor and track student progress in line with school expectations

* Support students with coursework, practical skills, and exam preparation

Who We’re Looking For:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

* Experience teaching Product Design up to KS4

* A strong understanding of the current DT curriculum

* Passion for design, creativity, and student achievement

* ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
