Project: £50M Residential Development
Salary: £80,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Manager to join a major £50 million residential construction project in North West London. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in managing the design process on large-scale residential developments.

About the Role
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion. Working closely with consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team, you will ensure all design information is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the design process across all project stages

* Coordinate architects, consultants, and subcontractors

* Review and manage design programmes and deliverables

* Ensure design compliance with building regulations and project specifications

* Identify and mitigate design risks and clashes

* Support value engineering and cost-effective design solutions

* Liaise closely with site and commercial teams

* Ensure timely release of accurate design information

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry

* Strong background in residential projects preferred

* Excellent coordination and communication skills

* Strong understanding of UK building regulations and design standards

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines

* Relevant construction or design-related qualification
