Our client, a leading UK contractor delivering some of the UK’s major construction projects, is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to play a key role on London projects across sectors including commercial, offices and science buildings. Typical values schemes are £20m to £50mWorking with a highly respected company, you will be responsible for managing the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery, ensuring coordination across consultants and stakeholders while maintaining programme, quality, and compliance requirements.ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate the design process across multiple project stagesLead design meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and client teamsReview and manage design documentation to ensure buildability, compliance, and cost efficiencyIdentify and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycleEnsure designs meet programme requirements and regulatory standardsSupport pre-construction activities including tender reviews and value engineeringWork closely with project managers and site teams to ensure seamless delivery on siteQualificationsProven experience as a Design Manager within a main contractorStrong experience delivering large-scale construction projects in the UKExcellent understanding of construction design processes and coordinationAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and consultant teamsStrong communication, leadership, and organisational skillsRelevant construction or engineering qualification preferredApply today or contact us for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
